Our Story

     Welcome to our story. We are Glynn, Pornpimon (Bum), and Winter Reeves. Glynn and Bum will have been married for five years on December 29. Our first home was in Chiang Rai Thailand. This was where we lived for almost a year and a half when we moved back to Glynn's hometown of Hueytown, Alabama in the USA. Our stay in the states was for three years where we lived with Glynn's parents, his brother and sister-in-law, his grandparents, the Bessemer Baptist Association's missionary house, a little rental house in Birmingham, AL, The Southern Baptist Theological Seminary in Louisville Kentucky, and then back with his parents who had sense moved to Bessemer AL. That is a total of 7 houses in 3 years.
     While at the seminary we made some great friends, went to a wonderful church, and added a member to our family. Jessiraht Winter Reeves was born on January 9, 2012, at the University of Louisville Hospital. He was more than we ever knew we wanted as parents and is one of the happiest and cutest babies we have ever seen. God is so good to us.
     Once we finished seminary we moved back home with my parents while we prayed and waited to see when we thought God was telling us to return to Thailand. As it usually happens with our plans God had us return much sooner that we expected. The time at my patents was short but very sweet. We miss our family in the states every day but know that we are doing what God would have us do. We have been in Thailand for three weeks now and are almost totally adjusted. We will be back soon to fill you in on what has happened over these past three weeks and try to catch you up to the present as quickly as we can.
